Riverview had six district champs which is the most in school history. Lane Keck; Josh Guerra; Tyler Forrest; Nico Hernandez; Chris Felix; and Gunnar Malouff. Riverview also had four runner-ups, those being: Carmelo Edwards Shemar Williams, Oskar Hernandez and Centrell Sommers. Finally, the team had three finish third, those being: Josh Francavilla; Josiah Fergoso; and Dontai Hernandez.
This was the school’s third district wrestling title in the past four years. Some major contributors were Nico Hernandez who was the first freshman in school history to win a district title and Shemar Williams who beat the state qualifier.
