Brief statement why you wish to be chosen queen: I wish to be chosen to be queen, because I don’t usually participate in competitions like this. So I used this as a way to challenge myself and break out of my comfort zone.
Anne Bridges
School Activities: I am in several HCC classes. I am also a part of DECA.
Honors and Awards: This December, I will be graduating early and I will start school in Pennsylvania in January. I have received an academic letter and have performed in several plays here at Riverview.
Brief statement why you wish to be chosen queen: I would like to win queen because I feel as if it would be the ultimate “Good bye.” I am very thankful for my years here.
Karisya Moran-Adames
School Activities: Key Club (president), Best Buddies officer, varsity soccer, Cross Country , NHS, Spanish Honor Society, AVID , Science Honor Society.
Honors and Awards: 6 Harold Martin Outstanding Key Club President, Principal’s Honor Roll, Miss Teen Achieve Queen.
Brief statement why you wish to be chosen queen: Because it would be very humbling to know that people know who I am and think that I am deserving of such an honor.
Perry Rodgers
School Activities: NHS, Varsity Cheerleading, Varsity Volleyball, Psychology Honor Society, Senior Council, Varsity Track and Field.
Honors and Awards: Shark Award (Varsity Volleyball), Best defensive player (Varsity Volleyball), MVP (Varsity Volleyball), Fifth place in state (Triple jump varsity Track and Field).
Brief statement why you wish to be chosen queen: I think the queen should be someone who represents Riverview well and is involved with the school, so to be chosen would be a great honor.

Jackson Cabana
School Activities: I am in NHS and Key Club.
Honors and Awards: Over the summer I volunteered for the VPK program at Summerfield Elementary School and accumulated over 90 community service hours. Distinguished Key Club member (70+ hours in one year)
Brief statement why you wish to be chosen king: I think it would be a great experience and a lot of fun.

School Activities: Vice President for the Bowling Club. Member of the Tennis Team. DJ at the Dance Marathon.

Brief statement why you wish to be chosen king: I am the voice of our class 2K18. Everyone knows me as the DJ. And I’m a leader and people look up to me.

Brief statement why you wish to be chosen king: I believe when you have been voted king by your peers you have earned their respect and you have impacted some of the people’s lives.

Brief statement why you wish to be chosen king: I think winning king is a privilege given to someone who displays great pride in their school and takes a leadership role in all they do. I think I display all of those characteristics and it would be an honor to represent our school in such a great way.
