The Riverview High School cross country team is now competing in meets and has currently attended two. The team has run in the East Hillsborough invite in Plant City as well as the Jim Ryan Invitational at Holloway Park in Lakeland.

Rohm also took a medal for Riverview at 13th place. The team placed 10th overall of 43 schools.
The Riverview varsity boys team also placed in the East Hillsborough meet at fourth overall. Ricardo Perez placed 14th with a time of 20:11, Nick Franklin placed 18th with a time of 20:51, and Eli Davila placed 21st with a time of 21:11. At the Jim Ryan Invitational, the boys team placed 25th among 66 schools. With their improved times, three boys- James Gordon, Eli Davila, and Nick Franklin- are currently all sub-20 runners. The difference in times between the two first meets signifies an improvement for both male and female Riverview runners according to Riverview head cross country coach Mary Lichtenberger.
