The Riverview High School Theater program will be showcasing the Tony Award-winning musical, In The Heights, written by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Quiara Alegria Hudes. The story of a Hispanic community of Manhattan’s Washington Heights begins this Thursday. through Saturday with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. The tickets are $5 for students, and $8 for adults.
The theater program has partnered with the JJ Lyon Guard Foundation to bring toys to kids in need in the Bahamas. Those bringing a new, unwrapped toy to In The Heights, will receive early preferred seating.
In addition, Saturday night the group is hosting “Dinner Con la Familia.” Tickets must be pre-ordered by today in the auditorium for $15. The dinner includes a salad, an entree, and a dessert at 5:30 p.m. in the cafeteria before the show.
